A STRONG RAIL FOR GERMANY
To transform rail transport in Germany into a strong backbone of our economy and society is a big task. As Deutsche Bahn, we identify particularly strongly with this task and assume particular responsibility for achieving this goal. We need an expansion strategy in order to live up to the demands of the climate, people, the economy and Europe, and to be able to contribute to a strong railway system. Our ambassador for Europe in long distance transport is an ICE 3, which was solemnly baptized »Europa/Europe« in Brussels, and with its blue stripes travels the Frankfurt am Main— Cologne—Brussels route.
