Implementation of Group transformation

The Management Board of Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG) has initiated far-reaching changes to Deutsche Bahn Group (DB Group). The Supervisory Board of DB AG has approved the Group transformation. Since January 1, 2026, we have been transforming DB Group: we want to become much leaner and operate in a much more decentralized manner. The goal of the “restart” is a significantly more efficient and thus more customer-friendly DB Group in which decisions are made close to the business, and hence close to the customers.
