1) The figure for 2025 corresponds to the status of the statutory electricity labeling in accordance with the German Energy Industry Act (Energiewirtschaftsgesetz; EnWG) and may therefore differ from the provisional figure in the previous year’s report.

Based on the development in the year to date and updated estimates, we have adjusted our expectations for full-year 2026 with regard to key non-financial figures:

  • Punctuality development in the first half of 2026 fell short of our expectations and is putting significant pressure on the annual targets for DB Long-Distance and DB Regional. The specified range reflects the changed risks associated with achieving these targets. DB InfraGO and the TOCs will further intensify their countermeasures in the second half of 2026. We do not expect DB Cargo to offset the weaker performance in the first half of 2026 during the second half of the year.
  • We have refined our forecast for the decline in absolute greenhouse gas emissions to reflect developments in the first half of 2026.
