Security summit for improved security

Following the fatal attack on an employee on a regional train, senior representatives from the Federal Government, the Federal states, employee representative bodies and the transport sector have agreed on areas of action for a joint “Action plan for improved security in rail transport”. The action plan will also be supplemented by further areas for action and examination, such as the expansion of video surveillance on trains and at stations.
